Office of the Dean of Arts and Science
The Office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences oversees the Arts and Humanities, Language Arts, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences instructional divisions as well as the Associate in Arts program, Kīpuka Native Hawaiian Center at Puʻuloa, the Office of International Programs in addition to the college’s transfer curricula, general education, developmental education, and integrated curricula for and with other instructional units.
Moreover, in collaboration with instructional divisions, the Office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences facilitates the resolution of student concerns and grievances in accordance with policies and procedures of the University of Hawaiʻi System, prevailing laws, and applicable governmental policies.
The Office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences promotes students’ engagement in diverse subject areas and supports their educational and professional aspirations by offering quality academic programs and services.
