The fastest growing degree program at Leeward is the Associate in Science in Natural Sciences Degree (ASNS) offering four concentrations:

    • Biological Sciences
    • Physical Sciences
    • Engineering
    • Information and Communication Technology

Our AS-NS can help you save time and money in pursuit of your 4 year degree. The AS-NS is one of several STEM options for you to explore. With one of the largest Math & Sciences divisions in the UH Community College system, Leeward offers more than 200 sections each semester in a variety of disciplines.

Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to working with students on an individualized basis. The programs offer great peer-to-peer and faculty-to-student interaction such as our Chemistry Study Area and the Biology study area for Anatomy and Physiology. You’ll have a wide range of opportunities…from extracting DNA in our state-of-the art biotech lab to working on space grant research.
