Office of the Dean of Arts and Science
The Office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences oversees the Arts and Humanities, Language Arts, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences instructional divisions; the Associate in Arts program; the Kīpuka, Native Hawaiian Center at Puʻuloa, and the Office of International Programs; and the college’s transfer curricula, general education, developmental education, and integrated curricula for and with other instructional units.
Collaborating with the instructional divisions, the Office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences can facilitate the resolution of student concerns and grievances in accordance with policies and procedures of the University of Hawaiʻi System, prevailing laws, and applicable governmental policies.
In offering quality academic programs and services, the Office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences promotes students’ engagement in diverse subject areas and supports their academic and professional aspirations.
